Jatech has won the contract to provide new software for an
award-winning live-in care agency.
Corinium Care started looking for a new data system because its
business has quadrupled in the last five years.
The company, based in George St, Nailsworth, provides 24-hour
care for the elderly and infirm, those with dementia and young
adults with physical and learning disabilities. It has 14 staff and
800 registered carers on its books.
"We'd had our former database for some time and we simply
outgrew it," said Corinium Care MD Camilla Miles. "Jatech's system
is very good - it enables us to manage information relating to our
staff, carers, clients and bookings in one software package."
Dean Gifford from Jatech said: "It was important for us to
understand Corinium's focus on closely matching a client's care
needs with the wide choice of registered carers. We wanted to make
their IT system a strategic asset - fast, flexible, reliable, easy
to use and low-maintenance. It also needed to provide a high level
of confidentiality which is essential in the care sector."
Jatech developed a system which Corinium staff were quick to get
to grips with. By incorporating all Corinium existing data and
reporting needs Jatech were reliably able to produce the software
without any expensive data re-entry needs.
