Software developers Jatech Ltd, from Stonehouse, Gloucestershire have donated £500 to local student Anastasiya Belova in sponsorship for the World Challenge educational expedition to Thailand and Laos in summer 2012.
Miss Bennett, teacher and expedition leader from High School for Girls, Gloucester has been very impressed with Anastasiya's attitude and fund raising focus as well as excellent academic performance across her studies. Jatech's sponsorship will be well spent this summer.
Jeff Tyndall, MD of Jatech, is delighted that Anastasiya will be working with communities in the developing countries she visits. Anastasiya is particularly pleased she'll be helping local children while facing numerous overseas challenges as part of the World Challenge adventure. The expedition is designed to develop leadership skills of students from High School for Girls, Gloucester.
Jatech provide IT consultancy and support to schools across Gloucestershire in both the state and private sector. Server virtualisation and rapid login times for staff and pupils have been some of the obvious benefits school customers appreciate, as well as improvments in stability, security and network design which are often unnoticed by users.
Jatech are pleased to be helping students from the local community achieve their potential, especially where IT is involved and these days that streches across all school disciplines.
Jeff Tyndall, says "We are happy to engage with students in the local area. Jatech are exhibiting software we have developed at the Festival of Manufacturing & Engineering in the Stroud Valleys and Vale to be hosted by Wycliffe College Monday 23rd April 2012. There will be leading local engineering companies attending with school children and college students visiting in the afternoon."
